I am presently researching representations of women in early balck films.
I've discovered that Facets Video of Chicago has an African American Film
Heritage Video Series. I'm specifically looking for films released between
1915-1955. If anyone has any information about any other company that has
released early black films on video (vhs), I would greatly appreciate
receiving this information. In addition, if you have any information on
the quality of the reproduction please send that info along. I will
collect and post any information I receive.

Thanks,
