I think the Ravel film was Un Coeur en hiver, a film about French violin
makers, one of whom falls for a Ravel specialist. Add to this list
all the Schubert quartets you hear in The Basileus Quartet, a comedy
about a quartet that replaces its first violinist. Then there are
amateurs--is it Eine Kleine Nachtmusik--playing in Ivan Passer's
Intimate Lighting. Godard loved the Mozart clarinet quintet--is that
what's playing during the 360 degree shot near the end of Breathless?
Or is it the clarinet concerto? liz weis, brooklyn college
