To all concerned:  According to information from Bitnet Interest Groups file
subscriptions to Artnet should be sent as mail in the usual fashion:
   MAIL MAILBASE AT NEWCASTLE.AC.UK SUBSCRIBE ARTNET first name last name
 
It is apparently a new group as of approximately first of September.  I take it
that MAILBASE is the UK equivalent of LISTSERV.
