Kutztown University is planning to offer an intensive one-week
residential course in video lighting this summer from June 12-18. In
addition to KU faculty, instruction will be provided by guest presenter,
Donna Larson, Emmy Award winning Lighting Director for ABC's _All My
Children_.

This intermediate course is designed to take participants beyond the
traditional technique of 3 point lighting. The course will concentrate
on the use of grip equipment, image control, diffusion and filtration,
basic electrical distribution, and location lighting with HMIs.
Technical support and guest presenters will be provided by Arriflex
Corp., Rosco Laboratories, and Clark Production Associates.

Students successfully completing the course will receive 3 academic
credits, and the course may be taken at either the graduate or
undergraduate level, depending on the student's academic background.

Arrangements have been made for participants to stay in private rooms in
the University's new, air conditioned residence hall (3 rooms per bath).
Meals and lodging are included in the package price for the seminar which
will be competitive with similar programs.
