Oot of curiosity, what kind of short work were you looking to adapt?  I've
done a couple of very short SF stories.
 
By the way, my name is Leann.  I review books, television, movies, music, and
web sites.  I do online chats, email interviews with authors and others, and
chat events.  I produce two review newsletters, Buzz Review and Fearcast.
