There was a PAL version of the Mankiewicz film but it has been withdrawn
(presumably in conjunction with the release of the new Phillip Noyce
version).  You might try to find a copy for sale on E-Bay or elsewhere.
Otherwise, check university libraries and similar sources.  There is a
VHS copy, for example, at U of North Carolina.  It is likely that you
could find another in the Chicago area.
