The Radio, Television and Cinema Department at Kadir Has University,
Istanbul, invites applications for an assistant professorship in television
studies and for a lecturer position in broadcasting beginning 2016-2017
academic year.


Successful candidates should have following qualifications.

Qualifications for the associate/assistant professor position:

* A Ph.D. degree in the field of Television or Media Studies;

* A record of scholarly achievement and research;

* Experience in teaching and administrative work at the university;

* Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Qualifications for the lecturer position:

* Professional experience in television broadcasting (familiarity with the
Turkish context and/or new broadcasting technologies is preferred);

* Proficiency in spoken and written English;

* Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
