CALL FOR ENTRIES
 
THIRD ANNUAL SILVER IMAGES FILM FESTIVAL
MAY 16-May 18, 1996
 
The festival programs a selection of the best international and U.S.
films and videos -- narrative, documentary, and experimental-- that honor
and celebrate the lives of older adults. Filmmakers of all ages are
encouraged to enter their work. The festival especially encourages
filmmakers who are 65 or older to enter work. (These particular films or
videos do not necessarily have to concern aging or older adults).
 
The Festival is held in several venues across the Chicagoland area and is
publicize in local and national meia. Events include an Opening Night
Gala, screenings for older adult groups, screenings for gerontology
professions, and screenings for the general public.
 
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: JANUARY 15, 1996 (If you would like to have your
film or video considered for the screenings for older adult groups,
please enter by December 1, 1995).
