I posted this message several weeks ago, and would like to resubmit it in
the hope that someone can point us, if not to the films themselves, to
other reference sources that may aid the  search.
 
We are trying to locate prints or dubs of the following films:
 
"The Desert of the Tartars (Il Deserto dei Tartari)" (1976; dir. Zurlini)
 
"The White Sun of the Desert" (1970; dir. Motyl)
 
Any information on location and availability will be greatly appreciated.
