I use Video F/X for editing. I can do a non-linear off-line edit after
digitizing my footage then switch to tape mode and shuttle tapes for
the on-line. I can also produce a CMX or GVG EDL to take to a post
house for fancy stuff. I use an A/B roll Beta SP system and have
been very satisfied.

For those of you going to NAB I suggest looking at Digital F/X's
newest product "Hitchcock" which does a good job of non-linear
editing - both off-line and on-line. The digitized edit decision
list is mastered to tape and gives a 3/4" to S-VHS quality master.
