Occasionally, as SCREEN-L's moderator, I receive messages for
SCREEN-L from persons seeking employment in film/TV/video production.
I have posted these messages in the past, but I'm thinking of
screening them out in the future.

My reasoning: very few persons who do the hiring on film/TV/video
productions are likely to read SCREEN-L. On a more theoretical level,
it also seems that SCREEN-L's emphasis on film/TV teaching and
research make it an inappropriate forum for production job hunting.

But I could be persuaded otherwise.

Please send comments *directly* to Jeremy Butler and not to
