Chips and Bits:  A Digital Symposium
This all-day symposium on digital studies in film and television
 will explore issues on how to theorize new media and how new media
 can be used in critical inquiry.  The symposium will present
 papers and computer    demonstrations both on the use of new media
 in critical studies and on various critical and theoretical
  approaches to this developing media form.

WHERE:  UCLA's Melnitz Hall -- Room 2534.  Melnitz is located at the
northeast corner of the UCLA campus near the intersection of Sunset
Boulevard and Hilgard Avenue.
 
ADMISSION:  Admission to the symposium is free.  On-campus parking is
available for $5 in Lot#3 (YOU MUST ARRIVE BEFORE 8:45 a.m. to park in Lot#3).
