Jane,
 
As someone who is surrounded by neurotics, almost none of whom are either
Jewish or from NY, I don't think the criticism of Seinfeld or Mad About You
is necessarily anti-Semitic. (If any of my colleagues see this, of course
I'm not talking about you.)
