Thank you William, Rod, and Beretta, for providing info, on Ellen
Holly. I was able to locate an address with a New York agency, but I
wonder if that is current. I was hoping to find a home address, actually.
Anyway, I am trying to find out if she ever auditioned for the part
of Sarah Jane in *Imitation of Life.* Holly wrote a very interesting
letter to the NYT in 1968 lamenting the fact that she could not find work
in Hollywood because she was too light skinned. *Imitation of Life* jumps
to mind, immediately, considering that she made her first film in 1959.
