The Sci-fi channel is great for it's showing of little known and rarely viewed
series', and in some cases never broadcasted episodes. I wonder if they can
pick-up a 1967 CBS program called "Coronet Blue". This program starred
Frank Converse, (best known for two other short lived TV shows, "N.Y.P.D." and
"Movin' On") and Brian Bedford. It also featured a title song by Adam Wade.
The show was sort of a "Nowhere Man" of it's time. Converse has lost his
memory and can only remember the words "Coronet Blue". He finds that he knows
some important government secrets and the martial arts, but he does not know
why he knows these things. One other problem someone is trying to kill him so
he takes refuge at a monestary where he meets a monk played by Bedford. They
begin a search for his true idenity. The program had a "pilot" episode that
was never aired, according to an old TV Guide article in 1967. Can anyone
remember more or have any info on this series.
