"Bulletin Board" for the Society for Cinema Studies 1996 Conference

March 7-10, 1996, Dallas, Texas

Along with UFVA, SCS is one of the principal US associations for
college teachers of film and television.

A list of panels and workshops for which individuals are soliciting
papers has been placed online (see below for access information).
Other panels and workshops may be created by individuals on their own;
you do not have to have announced your panel or workshop in this
"bulletin board" to later submit a proposal.

There are three ways to access this information through the Internet:

1. World Wide Web

Point your browser to

http://www.sa.ua.edu/TCF/teach/assoc/scs.htm

Or, if this is too long to keep straight, just tap into SCREENsite and
follow the path toward educational associations:

http://www.sa.au.edu/tcf/welcome.htm

2. E-mail

Address an e-mail message to:

[log in to unmask]

Put the following in the first line of the message, starting your line
at the far left margin:

send scsbb.txt

A text (ASCII) file will be sent to you via regular e-mail channels.

3. FTP

FTP on over to:

ftp.tcf.ua.edu

Login as ANONYMOUS, give your e-mail address as a password, and change
over to the PUB directory. Get the file named scsbb.txt.

Any problems, let me know.
