Anybody else seen this documentary in two parts on Noam Chomsky the
philosopher and political radical and media theorist (as opposed to Noam
the linguist)? I thought it was a respectable presentation of the ideas
with a surprising sense of humor.

Otherwise there weren't many surprises for me, since I've kept up with his
writings pretty well. I'm wondering, though, if anyone has tried a
Chomskyian analysis of feature films? Or if Chomsky, to anyone's
knowledge, has tried to extend his notions of manufacturing consent to
specific trends in entertainment? I doubt it would interest him, but with
psuedo-factual or -historical films it might not be such a stretch. Opinio=
ns?
