MSU is hiring a a tenure-stream, assistant professor in Film Studies and Digital Humanities:
"The ideal candidate will be instrumental in helping to develop interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives focused on fields such as digital cinema and cultures, new media theory, media archaeology, archival theory and practice, and/or computational methodologies, particularly as these areas intersect critically with issues of diversity. Candidates should have primary expertise in film studies and the digital humanities, along with secondary expertise in areas such as gender and sexuality and/or race and ethnicity. We especially welcome candidates with expertise in feminist media history and theory. The research area is open to a variety of national, transnational, and postcolonial film and media cultures.”
