The Motion Picture Guide is oddly enough available on the web courtesy of
TV Guide.

It sometimes runs a tad slow and it basically only covers films released in
the US (so no mention of Von Stroheim's "Queen Kelly" for example) but it
is pretty useful for B-movie and 30s/40s studio films that are otherwise
poorly served in most reference works.
