Denise Slavin writes:
[1. Recently, there has been a trend in advertising in movie theatres
before films and in movies themselves (especially Generation X movies).
What are your views on this trend? Are advertisers moving forward into
the past?]
As a moviegoer, I find ads before and in movies deeply offensive, and boo
loudly (before the movie starts). I resent a culture in which my only role is
as consumer, someone to be sold to at any possible moment.
