Sarasota is just fine, even in August.  I just returned from there
in November and it was 85 degrees.  But a really fine place, and
everyone at the conference should be instructed to travel to the
northern tip of Long Boat Key to eat at Fast Eddie's restaurant.
On the water, great fish, and reasonable prices.
