Kyle Barrineau pointed out Oprah Winfrey as an example of a talk show host who
has also appeared in films as a performer.  Rolanda (I believe her last name is
Watts) appeared as a talk show host in "The Stupids."
 
I bet I am the only person on this list who will admit to having seen it.
