The Munich Filmmuseum has organized a massive, three month retrospective, 
"Eisenstein and the World". The program of more than fifty films, includes
all of Eisenstein's films, films that he wrote about, and films that he
influenced. This weekend, the Filmmuseum is hosting an international
syposium on Eisenstein and his influence on the world's cinema.
 
The retrospective was curated by assistant curator, Klaus Volkmer. Among
the programs being shown:
