  COMMUNICATION-LATINO MEDIA

The Department of Culture and Communication at New York University 
seeks an assistant professor specializing in Latino media, with a 
particular focus on transnational and global issues.  We invite 
applicants who situate Latin American/Latino media within local, 
national, and/or hemispheric cultural and historical contexts. The 
Department of Culture and Communication emphasizes the 
interdisciplinary study of media and culture and encourages candidates 
from a broad range of methodological approaches. 

  Applicants should send a cv, three letters of recommendation, and 
samples of their work to Marita Sturken, Search Chair, Latino Media
