Call for Papers
Special Issue on Screenwriting
    The editors of a special edition of the University Film and Video
Association's JOURNAL OF FILM AND VIDEO seek submissions of manuscripts on
film and television screenwriting and screenwriters.  This special issue is
devoted to providing many perspectives, including articles on individual
screenwriters, interviews, book reviews and in-depth analyses of
screenplays.
    Manuscripts should be prepared following THE MLA STYLE MANUAL AND GUIDE
TO SCHOLARLY PUBLISHING.  Originals and copies other than carbons are
acceptable; computer disc will be required of published works, but not
required for submission.  Notes and list of works cited are to appear on
pages at the conclusion of the article.
    The deadline for submission is August, 2002.  Letters of interest should
be in by February, 2002.
