The Southeastern Media Institute serves both beginners and
professionals who are interested in developing further knowledge and
skills in various aspects of media.  It offers intensive, hands-on,
practial production experience through small, individualized
workshops.  With reasonable rates, the institute is a place for
independents, commercial producers, educators, broadcasters, writers,
actors, students and others involved in film, video and audio to meet
with their peers and share information.
 
In addition to the workshops, the institute holds public screenings,
receptions and special events with independent and industry artists.
Adimission to these events is free for all participants.
