does anybody out there know whether the refurbished print of VERTIGO
currently showing in new york is scheduled to make national rounds . . . and
if so when, where, how

BTW, according to the NYTimes, a video copy of this print will be available
early next year, which puzzles me a little . . . though i'm generally
perfectly happy to use video copies, especially when they get aspect ration
right, i can't imagine that imporvements in color registration will really be
noticeable in video . . . so is this merely a commercial scam to capitalize
on any cachet that accrues to the new print, or is there likely to be some real
difference in the new video edition, some improvement in detail or color that
someone who has watched the currently available tape many times is going to
notice

thanks for any info
