Jim Welsh, editor of the Literature/Film Quarterly, has asked me to post this
announcement:

**Contributors Needed for Novel into Film Survey**

John Tibbetts and Jim Welsh have secured a contract for an encyclopedic survey
of novels into film to be published by Facts on File in New York in 1996. The
entries will vary in length from 500 to 1000 to 1500 words, depending on the
importance of the novel or film treated. Initial assignments for about half of
the title were made after a meeting explaining the project at the 1994 Lit/Film
Conference at Towson State University, but nearly 200 titles are still to be
assigned. Anyone interested in participating in this project is invited to
write to John Tibbetts at 6024 Maple, Mission, KS 66202. The deadline for the
first round of entries is July 15, 1995. A listing of available titles will be
sent upon request.
