Dear Film, History, and George Washington fans...

A&E broadcast THE CROSSING a number of times last year.
This film portrayed the stresses and strains of leadership as
experienced by George Washington during a narrow sliver of'
history, the crossing of the Delaware River and the raid on the
Hessians in Princeton--and then the tactical withdrawal from
that raid.

The underlying theme of the film was "character," that
Washington demonstrated the depth of character which would
make him such a splendid leader in the office of the Presidency.

Is there someone out there who has written an essay on
THE CROSSING. I would very much like to hear from such
an author as soon as possible!! (Time is a real factor.)
