For some work I'm doing on "Americanness" in 1970s Hollywood, I'm trying to
track down a copy of William Richert's The American Success Company
(Columbia, 1980), aka American Success, aka The Ringer, and released recut
in 1983 as Success. It stars Jeff Bridges, Ned Beatty and Bianca Jagger (!).
I don't believe it's ever been released on VHS let alone DVD, but if it's
ever been broadcast and somone has an off-air copy (any format) I'd be
enormously grateful.
Many thanks,
Barry Langford
