Don't sweat it...  I'm not a football fan, and I have yet to maintain a
serious long-term relationship.  I seem to recall a filler segment on Comedy
Central with the title "Quickies" where a comedian says something to the
effect of, "When I meet people and tell them I don't have a girlfriend, they
always ask, 'What are you, gay?'  Why does it always have to be that.  Take a
look at your basic superheroes...  Superman, Batman, they were single.  Did
you ever think that the demands on my time are such that no matter how much I
might like it, I just can't have a relationship right now?  I could be a
superhero."
