hello all,

i'm a fourth year undergraduate studying economics, film, french,
and pre-medical sorts of things. regarding this post, i'm taking a class
here called "Documentary: Form and Content" with Professor Bernard Mayes,
(of foundation of NPR fame, i've heard). if you would like, i can give you
more info on how/what he's teaching and a point of contact if you would
like to speak with him directly (but if i do, don't mention my name
because i may decide not to take his class, for logistical reasons in
addition to generational ones delineated by Mr. Mark Edmundson in this
month's Harper's :).

sincerely-

I find television very educational. Every time someone switches it on I go
into another room and read a good book.
