        Well, actually, Gary, it was John Ford, not John Wayne, who
        assembled the repertory players who appeared in so many films
        together. Wayne was merely one of them...the most famous one,
        perhaps. But if you watch "The Searchers" and then watch "Two
        Rode Together," you'll recognize a lot of faces, and the
        actors play essentially the same types of roles in both films.
        Wayne wasn't even in "Two Rode Together," making it clear that
        Ford was the organizing force.  Ernie.
