It's not strictly speaking about a cyborg (she describes herself as a
'simulation' created by machine lifeforms) and it depends on what
themes your conversation would touch on, but Peter Wollen's
Friendship's Death (1987) is an interesting film about the nature of
humanity. The script is published in Penley et al's Close
Encounters.
