Dear Listers,
 
        I'd appreciate hearing what anyone knows or has read about a film called
 Decodings, by Michael Wallin. This brilliant, poetic work was shown locally in
 a series called The Territory back in 89 or 90.
        Also, the film's music is a string quartet by Shostakovich, but it's not
 identified.  After listening to many Shostakovich quartets, I still can't
 recognize which one is used.
