It's been a while since I plugged the 'MacGuffin'/Hitchcock Scholars
website here, so let me cite what's been posted lately in the "Editor's
Week" (formerly "Editor's Day"!) feature ... Recent topics include: (1)
Cars in Hitchcock; (2) Hitchcock on marriage (apropos MR AND MRS SMITH);
(3) Perverse subtexts in Hitchcock; (4) The genesis of THE BIRDS; (5)
The red mail box in THE BIRDS (response to correspondence); (6) On two
different prints of THE LODGER - and the 'incest motif' in that film;
(7) On Bruno and the blind man in STRANGERS ON A TRAIN; (8) On Tom
Cohen's two-volume 'Hitchcock's Cryptonymies'; (9) Apropos Hitchcock,
thoughts on Camus' 'La Peste'.

That's all on the News and Comment page:
http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~muffin/news-home_c.html

Thanks for reading this, and apologies for some cross-posting.

- Ken Mogg (Ed., 'The MacGuffin')
