Shirley Jones ("Madam Librarian") in THE MUSIC MAN.

What about the Thatcher Library in CITIZEN KANE (or was that
the Thatcher Mauseleum)?

How far does this theme extend? Does a library scene qualify?

If so, there is a recent film (within the last few years) with
Cher and Dennis Quaid (she's a lawyer; he's a Washington
lobbiest). They do research in a law library.

GHOST BUSTERS has a library scene. ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN.
PAPER CHASE.
