The Society for Cinema Studies is currently studying ways in which it can
optimally make use of the Internet (and other computer resources). A
standing committee ("Computer Networks and SCREEN-L") is charged with
looking into this and developing SCS policies regarding computer networks.

This committee needs a new *student* member. The only qualifications are
that you hold a student membership in SCS (or you're applying for one) and
you're interested in computer networks.

If you'd like to join, send a short note about yourself and your
computer-related interests to Jeremy Butler, the committee chair:

Thanks!

P.S. Current members of the committee:

Leger Grindon
Robert Lang
Brian Taves
Maureen Furniss
