which will appear in The Chronicle of
Higher Education shortly.   As the
Program Chair, I am looking for Area
Chairs to work with me to build an
exciting and varied meeting.....Area
chairs field proposals for their defined
area of study, assemble panels, and submit
the results after the deadline to them has
passed.  (In this case, 1 June of 2001.)

    Please join this meeting as an
Area Chair and make it a better scholarly
gathering for your efforts.

PCA/ACA Mexico Meeting

The 5th PCA/ACA Congress will be
held on the campus of  the U of the
Americas, Cholula/Puebla Mexico,
18-20 October, 2001.  Economic,
political, historical, and cultural studies
