It might be interesting to show sequences where violence to people is shown
at an emotional distance. I'm thinking of the  rape scene in Kubrick's
CLOCKWORK ORANGE to the music of Rossini (The Thieving Magpie?). The patients
involved might find a distanced viewpoint more familiar to them in their
present state.
