yes you are correct, the EBN video is quite astonishing and quite humorous.
again you are correct in how innovative and creative they are "showing"
their samples. i know quite a bit about this project. it is rather neck
breaking to sit and think how long it must of took to put this peice
together. it is probably one of the first things that is "toaster" creative
, besides H-Gun Labs work, to get out on the market. the only problem with
this "band" is that they've been promising an album for almost two years now.
in october i heard that it was finally coming out. don't hold your breath.
for now your just going to have to deal with the video and a single for
"try psycho active drugs". but a warning!! i was really into taping my
audio tracks off of video tapes for a while (ie. recording "in case you
didn't feel like showing up" by ministry for those extra little tidbits
they didn't put on the album) and i gotta tell you. EBN is good at video,
but needs a lot of schooling in songwritting. the band is truely nothing if
you don't have the video support. their breaks and fills are way off, and
does get rather boring. it just another classic case of "hey, techno is just
using little computers, we know that, it must be easy." anyway, that's
probably why it's taken them so long to get the album out. please notice in
"try psycho active drugs", in the whole montage of george bush and mr. rogers
asking "why, why why" they throw in bill clinton saying "i know why". and
hey, if you can get your hands on a vtr controler, slow the video down, it
is very interesting what they put in their. ecspecially in the bulls-eye.
hope that helps.
