    Regarding Saul Bass's claim to have 'directed' the shower scene, perhaps as
    stoyboardist he was claiming rather to have 'created' the scene - while
    Hitchcock worked with Miss Leigh and the camera operator . Seeing as the
    scene has become a textbook example of the film editor's art, maybe Bass's
    contribution as storyboard artist should be recognised more than it has
    been.
