Yes, I have seen and enjoyed Mi Familia.  A major theme is  identity.  The
characters search for their identities as Mexican-Americans, Angelenos,
immigrants, family members, Catholics, etc.  I would think high school
students would relate well to that.  There is some nudity, but I don't
recall much "bad" language.  It could be that I don't hear it since I'm
not looking for it.
 
I also don't recall much Spanish being spoken in the film.
