You might try Martin Bell and Mary Ellen Marks's STREETWISE. There is
also a new critical book by Jon Lewis on Youth Films and Rebellion.
It's in paper from Routledge and has a still from SID AND NANCY (yet
another possibility) on the cover. This book should lead to many more
titles and plot summaries as well as a critical perspective on the whole
issue.
