We wish to locate a stockist for the following rare films by Michael Cacoyannis
for a comparative study of Greek myth and film myth. We need a stockist who can
provide the following or related movies on video (eitherviC format, rather than
disk), and who can ship to NZ.

Most wanted: _Electra_ (Greece, 1961)
and _Iphigenia_ (Greece, 1976).

Also useful by other directors:
_Electra_ by Ted Zarpas, Greece, 1962
_Oedipus Rex_ by Tyrone Guthrie, Canada, 1956
_The Persians/ Les Perses_ by Jean Prat, France, 1961
_Oedipus The King_ by Philip Saville, UK, 1967
_Antigone_, by George Tzavellas, Greece, 1961
_Phaedra_, by Jules Dassin, USA/Greece, 1961
_The Cannibals/I Cannibali_ by Liliana Cavani, Italy, 1970
_Prometheus Second Person Singular_ by Costa Ferris, Greece, 1975
_Elektreia/ Elektra Szerelmem_ by Miklos Jancso, Hungary, 1975
_A Dream of Passion_ by Jules Dassin, Switzerland/Greece, 1978
_Lysistrata/Lisistrati_ by Yorgos Zervoulakos, Greece, 1972
_The Archarnians/I Archarnis_ by Mimis Kouyioumtzis, Greece, 1976.

We would prefer videos with English subtitles, or less preferred, English
dubbing, but least preferred, no English!

Also, any recent (less than five years) articles or books that focus on these
and similar films would be much appreciated, or even directions on who better
to ask.

Please email to me direct at

Kia kite, and thank you very much.
