Electrocast.com and U.S. Creative.com Team to
Present Live Web Broadcast of High-Profile Panel at
SXSW Interactive Fest

Austin, TX---Electrocast.com, provider of Internet broadcast services,
is proud to
broadcast a live web event on March 13, 2000, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
CST, as part of the South By Southwest Interactive Conference in Austin,
Texas. Presented by UScreative.com, the largest and online resource for
the creative industries, the web cast features a panel discussion
comprised of five high profile entertainment and Internet insiders:
A&E's Bill Kurtis; The Fisher King and Sleepless in Seattle producer
Lynda Obst; Blair Witch Project producer Gregg Hale; Origin Systems
founder Richard Garriott; and AtomFilms founder and CEO Mika Salami.

Entitled "Power Convergence: A New Medium?," the panel challenges the
recent merging of multi-billion dollar media corporations and how they
change will the face, feel and function of the Internet. This poses many
questions regarding the accessibility and use of the Internet to the
average person. Will content be controlled? If so, who will control the
content? And who will control the channels of distribution of that very
content?
