I apologize for the misnomer...I use morality play in the sense that, the
film depicts the morals, ethics, or spirit--whaterever you would like to call
 them
--of the eras which they represent...I feel that there are statements in the
er, both films that depict the morals of their respective times, and that
there a re a great many parallels to be drawn between Jay Gatsby and John
Gage...Only I can't discuss then just right now...gotta run to class.
