the pal versions of all the whole _dekalog_, _short film about love_ and
_short film about killing_ are available from a company called "eve" which
i think stands for "espace video europeen." i tried to get my library to
order them this summer, and they ran into some difficulty.

the roxie theatre in san francisco has shown the whole _dekalog_ and the
two features within the last couple of years. the _dekalog_ was also
shown at the san francisco international film festival, i think in about
1992. you may be able to get some info out of them.

also, for those interested in _the double life of veronique_, note that
the story of ola (singer with the weak heart) in _dekalog 9_ is the root
of veronique's.
