I would like to know how important face to face contacts for "packaging" a new film are. Is Hollywood still important, because face to face contact is needed in order to be able to deal simultaneously with actors, financers, story writers, directors etc.?
What´s your guess? (Is Hollywood still important at all?)

A related Question is (not the main question):
Do you know names of (former) non U.S. stars (e.g. europeans), or financial institutions etc. which moved to L.A. to get into the U.S. business?

Thank you very much!
Christian Jansen
