To Denise and Others with Cable: In rural Virginia where my wife and I have
taught for 20 years, cable doesn't quite stretch (and God knows if anything
decent is offered on it) so we rent films via Home Film Festival. Their
catalogue is indexed by country and by director, and it contains much of what
a literate film buff would like to see. 1-800-258-FILM can get you a
brochure. There are other outlets for film rental by mail, of course, but
this is one I can definitely vouch four.
